One of the most effective methods to enhance both distance and precision in golf is through tempo training. This principle underlies the creation of the LAUNCH CODE® Tempo Training app.

TEMPO is a common factor among the world's top golfers. It was discovered that elite golfers adhere to a specific mathematical ratio in their swing, with the time from the start of the swing to impact falling at a 3 to 1 ratio when measured over an elapsed time where 30 frames equal one second. Despite variations in swing speed among golfers, they all conform to this particular 3 to 1 ratio.

The LAUNCH CODE® Tempo Training app employs a series of notes played in this distinctive 3 to 1 ratio, offering training options at different swing speeds. This app features note patterns corresponding to various swing tempos to accommodate golfers swinging at different speeds, allowing them to identify the optimal tempo for improved swing efficiency.

The app encompasses a wide range of tempos, from slower overall swing speeds like 30/10 and 27/9 to faster speeds such as 18/6 and 15/5. You may find your tempo akin to Tiger Woods at 24/8 or resembling a quicker pace like Jack Nicklaus at 21/7.

Irrespective of your preferred swing speed, using our app enables you to master the ideal tempo tailored to your game, revealing a training secret known by the world's top golfers.

Please be advised that our training app focuses on the full swing. Training for short game shots or putting should adhere to a separate ratio of 2 to 1.
